This Tour is limited to just eight motorcycle riders and their passengers (if any) and will take place from October the 17th 2024 to October the 23rd 2024.
We will travel through the remote and often forgotten regions of Portugal’s Icon Villages and Algarve!

1st Day: LISBON - MARVÃO (300KMs)

The adventure begins in Lisbon. We will ride from Belém to Cascais by the riverside on the way to Cabo da Roca – the westernmost extent of mainland Portugal and continental Europe

Along the Tajo river side we continue direction Marvão the medieval mountaintop village, the town itself (a candidate for the World Heritage list), is one of Portugal’s most spectacular fortified villages.

2nd Day: MARVÃO – SERRA DA ESTRELA (286 KMs)

Awesome roads and villages are waiting for us at Beira Baixa district, in the Center of Portugal. Historical Villages near the border with Spain, therefore preserving the secular culture, gastronomy, and traditions.

Monsanto the most Portuguese Village in the country where the houses are built side by side with monoliths and some of the giant stones are part of some house’s architecture; Penha Garcia Neolithic village where we can find greatest treasures in its 490 million year quartzite rocks.

The beauty continues to the continental highest Mountain – Serra da Estrela. Wow!!

3rd Day: SERRA DA ESTRELA – FIG. DA FOZ (250 KMs)

Descending and start our way to the sea serpentinous roads starts zigzagging between the forest and the river. The landscape in the middle of the mountains is simply dazzling. We are in the zone of shale, which was used for constructing houses centuries ago!

As we hit the back roads of the Center-West Atlantic coast, the most beautiful seaside road called the Atlantic road is waiting for us – The ocean always by our side! Fishermen and surfer’s villages like São Pedro de Moel and Nazaré are on the way – Careful with the big waves!!

4th Day: FIG. DA FOZ – ÉVORA (270 KMs)

We will continue our route to Arraiolos – the land of famous handmade carpets, to Évora through the heart of the Alentejo region.

The roads in Alentejo are plane and there is a wonderful landscape with oaks and olive trees stretching out to the horizon.

Here we are in Évora – The Heart of the Alentejo region – facing the most famous tourist attraction – The Roman temple, incorrectly dedicated to Diana, the goddess of hunting.

The temple is regarded as the best-preserved Roman structure on the Iberian Peninsula, having been miraculously preserved by being incorporated into multiple buildings since the demise of the Romans.

5th Day: ÉVORA – TAVIRA (270KMs)

Going down to Algarve the cork tree and vineyards make the best of the landscape.

By the Guadiana’s River we will find small villages all with the influence of the Arabic architecture, because of their strong domain in the Iberian Peninsula (711-1492).

Reaching the Algarve, the odor of the beach and sea joins us as the warm temperature.

6th Day: TAVIRA – SAGRES (237KMs)

We will ride our motorcycles through Portugal’s playground. A mix between the mountains and the beach.

The two mountains Monchique and Caldeirão lead us to their famous mountain roads and views.

The journey ends reaching the tip of Europe in Sagres and see the place where the ancients believed the land ended and sea began.

7th Day: SAGRES – LISBON (326KMs)

From here its a drive up to Lisbon, wiggling our way though one of Europe’s widest coastlines, and certainly one of the most exciting as well.

A surfer’s and adventure seeker’s paradise, this coast has razor sharp cliffs which serve as a wall to the relentless pounding of the Atlantic.

Now imagine sitting comfortably in a empty cliff, eating some grilled fish and chatting away with the locals as nature takes its course in front of you…This is what we call freedom!
